Japanese-style Potato Salad (日式马铃薯沙拉)

Cool Japanese-style potato salad is one of the great summer dishes, though I can eat it on any day of the year. Of cause, it is so easy to make the potato salad. You gonna learn it!

冰凉的日式马铃薯沙拉绝对是一道消暑的好料理,它是任何时刻都很棒的美食!当然,日式马铃薯沙拉也绝对是一道超简单的料理哦!你一定要学哦!


Japanese Potato Salad

Ingredients:
2 medium potatoes, well scrubbed
½ Green Apple
About 3 inches of Japanese cucumber
About 3 inches of carrot
1 hard-boiled egg
3 tbsp Mayonnaise (*Kewpie Mayonnaise/ Any Japanese mayonnaise preferred)
Salt & pepper to taste

Method:
  1. Cut the potatoes into half and boil it until tender.   (*You can poke a skewer through one without any resistance)
  2. Minced the green apple, cucumber & carrot, cut the egg into small pieces, set aside.
  3. Peel off the skin of the potatoes and cut it into small pieces, use a spoon to smash the potatoes. 
  4. Mix all the ingredients together. Cover with plastic wrap and cool in the refrigerator until serving time. (*Also taste great with adding some Tonkatsu sauce!)


日式马铃薯沙拉

材料:
2粒中型马铃薯,洗净
1/2青苹果
大概3寸长的日本黄瓜
大概3寸长的胡萝卜
1粒水煮蛋
3汤匙美奶滋*如果有日式美奶滋/Kewpie品牌的美奶滋更好)
盐及胡椒少许

做法
  1. 把马铃薯切半,煮至熟透*可以用一支竹签插入马铃薯里,如没有任何阻力就表示熟了)
  2. 把青苹果,黄瓜和胡萝卜剁碎,把鸡蛋也切成很小块,备用*青苹果碎记得过盐水,才不会变色!)
  3. 剥离马铃薯的皮及把它切成小块,然后用汤匙压碎马铃薯。
  4. 所有准备好的材料混合在一起。用保鲜膜盖起来及放在冰箱冷却,就完成了! (*加少许日式猪排酱《Tonkastu Sauce》会更提味!)

  4. 没有黄瓜..就别加咯!清爽的黄瓜是可以调和浓郁的马铃薯泥,这样的口感才特别!如果有黄瓜就更好!
