Omurice(日式蛋包饭)

I have been long time didn’t cook Omurice, since I have chicken in my refrigerator, I decided to cook the Japanese style omelet with rice for today. Imagine the gold-colored fried egg wrapped with the creamy tomato fried rice, it is simple and superb delicious!

很久没有吃蛋包饭了,所以今天来做一个日式蛋包饭。刚好冰箱还有剩下一些些鸡肉,把它加入番茄炒饭是最适合不过,想像黄金色的鸡蛋包着香浓奶油味的番茄炒饭,简直就是人间美味丫!

Omurice – Japanese style omelet with rice

Ingredients:
100g Chicken (Cut into cube)
½ Onion (Minced)
200g Rice
3 tbsp Ketchup
1 tsp Chicken seasoning powder
100ml Water
3 Eggs
Salt & pepper to taste
Butter

Method:
  1. Saute onion & chicken with butter in a hot pan. (Pic 1-2)
  2. Then, add tomato sauce, water, chicken powder, pepper and salt to taste. (Pic 3-4)
  3. Simmer the sauce and add in the rice, stir-fry well. (Pic 5-6)
  4. Crack 3 eggs in a bowl and add pepper and salt for seasoning, stir well and pour the eggs mixture into a hot pan and fry the eggs over medium heat. (Pic 7)
  5. While the fried egg surface still moisturise, add in the fried rice and slightly wrap the fried rice with the egg, then transfer it to a plate and done. (Pic 8-12)

日式蛋包饭

材料:
100g鸡肉 (切小块)
半粒洋葱 (切粹)
200g 白饭
3汤匙番茄酱
1茶匙鸡精粉
100ml
3粒蛋
胡椒及盐巴(适量)
奶油(少许)

做法:
  1. 起一奶油锅,爆香洋葱,放入鸡肉,以大火炒。(图1-2
  2. 然后加入番茄酱,水,鸡精粉,胡椒及盐巴调味。(图3-4
  3. 快炒至稍微收汁,然后加入白饭炒均。(图5-6
  4. 鸡蛋搅拌好后,加入少许胡椒及盐巴调味,把蛋液倒入平底锅,中火慢煎。(图7
  5. 把蛋煎至表面有一点湿润就可加入炒好的炒饭,把蛋稍微包着炒饭,然后用盘盛装蛋包饭。(图8-12
