I have been long time didn’t cook Omurice, since I have chicken in my refrigerator, I decided to cook the Japanese style omelet with rice for today. Imagine the gold-colored fried egg wrapped with the creamy tomato fried rice, it is simple and superb delicious!
很久没有吃蛋包饭了,所以今天来做一个日式蛋包饭。刚好冰箱还有剩下一些些鸡肉,把它加入番茄炒饭是最适合不过,想像黄金色的鸡蛋包着香浓奶油味的番茄炒饭,简直就是人间美味丫!
Omurice – Japanese style omelet with rice
Ingredients:
100g Chicken (Cut into cube)
½ Onion (Minced)
200g Rice
3 tbsp Ketchup
1 tsp Chicken seasoning powder
100ml Water
3 Eggs
Salt & pepper to taste
Butter
Method:
- Saute onion & chicken with butter in a hot pan. (Pic 1-2)
- Then, add tomato sauce, water, chicken powder, pepper and salt to taste. (Pic 3-4)
- Simmer the sauce and add in the rice, stir-fry well. (Pic 5-6)
- Crack 3 eggs in a bowl and add pepper and salt for seasoning, stir well and pour the eggs mixture into a hot pan and fry the eggs over medium heat. (Pic 7)
- While the fried egg surface still moisturise, add in the fried rice and slightly wrap the fried rice with the egg, then transfer it to a plate and done. (Pic 8-12)
日式蛋包饭
材料:
100g鸡肉 (切小块)
半粒洋葱 (切粹)
200g 白饭
3汤匙番茄酱
1茶匙鸡精粉
100ml 水
3粒蛋
胡椒及盐巴(适量)
奶油(少许)
做法:
- 起一奶油锅,爆香洋葱,放入鸡肉,以大火炒。(图1-2)
- 然后加入番茄酱,水,鸡精粉,胡椒及盐巴调味。(图3-4)
- 快炒至稍微收汁,然后加入白饭炒均。(图5-6)
- 鸡蛋搅拌好后,加入少许胡椒及盐巴调味,把蛋液倒入平底锅,中火慢煎。(图7)
- 把蛋煎至表面有一点湿润就可加入炒好的炒饭,把蛋稍微包着炒饭,然后用盘盛装蛋包饭。(图8-12)
