Icy Plum Juice (冰镇酸梅汤)

This is a great drink to cool down your body especially summer. Let's try it out ya!
这是一个超消暑的传统饮料,尤其是这炎热的夏天。我们就开始煮吧!


Icy Plum Juice (Chinese herbal drink)

Ingredients:
25g Dried hawthorn 
7 Ebony
10g  Licorice
10g  Dried tangerine
30g  Rock sugar
1000ml  Water 

Methods:
1.    Soak the dried hawthorn, ebony, licorice and dried tangerine in a bowl for 2 minutes, wash and set aside.
2.    Boil the water, add in all the ingredients (except rock sugar), cook in medium high heat and simmer about 30 minutes.
3.    Filter the soup, add in the rock sugar, stir well, let it cool and keep into refrigerate for 2 hours.

Tips:
1.    There is some dust on the herbs and it must be soaked in water and wash well.
2.    You can adjust the amount of water, the light taste for pour in more water.


冰镇酸梅汤

材料:
山楂约25g
乌梅7
甘草10g
陈皮10g
冰糖30g
清水1000ml

做法:

1.  将干山楂片,乌梅,甘草和陈皮放入碗中,用清水浸泡2分钟后洗净、沥干备用。
2.  煮沸清水,加入所有材料(除了冰糖),中高火煮约30分钟。
3.  滤掉煮汤材料,把冰糖加入酸梅汤,稍稍搅匀,待酸梅汤晾凉后,放入冰箱冷藏2小时后即可饮用。

提示:

1.  中草药多有浮尘必须要浸泡并清洗干净。
2.  加清水的量可随意调节,水越多,味道越淡。
